+ Aristotle says that imitation is something natural to human beings, that our first knowledge acquisitions were learned by imitation and that is natural wanting to please everyone with reproduction.
“Y prueba de ello es lo que ocurre en las obras de arte: pues las cosas que vemos en la realidad con desagrado, nos agrada ver sus imagenes logradas de la forma mas fiel, así por ejemplo ocurre con las formas mas repugnantes de animales o cadáveres.”
Like a great professor once said: “los artistas… mentimos hasta por los codos.” Then I thought: A good story teller is a good liar. Plato described Homer as an “artista alejado en tres grados de la verdad incapaz de hacer otra cosa que fantasmas de la virtud”.
So art imitates lies...
Phase 2
+ Here I am once again, hiding a bit from my self, procrastinating with full potential and avoiding a paper for art theory class. I've seen this pictures many times before.
Here I am, sitting while the air around me pushes my skin while I try to close my senses to forget, forgive and not get bothered by my rather own mistakes.
Running away from things also makes one tired... I need some air... if not all the oxygen in the world.
I miss having my own room, being surrounded by images that make me comfortable. I grieve not being surrounded by people with bright minds and being questioned all over again stupidly. I long for silence…

Classes ended today, it was such a bloody rush!
I already have my enrollment for the next semester :)
Xvt has been away from me latetly, but he's coming back, he's my balance. :)
Things ARE going to change so much, the 21 ritual has started and that is marvelous! I won't let myself down again. I want to kick some ass too!

I don't think my words are needed to describe why I picked these. Every piece shouts decadent elegance and a flawless eye for detail. Thought I don’t approve make-up wise, that Manson-esque big mouth is an instant refusal.
